Received a call from this number this morning (11 am). Friendly person looking to conduct a survey on behalf of ICBC. Declined because I was running late, no problems! These people were very nice. I have been contacted before by NRG for surveys relating to ICBC. What is wrong with a company hiring a research company to conduct surveys? They want to make sure the people selling insurance or processing claims are being friendly and helpful to YOU (the customer). NRG is also hired by many other companies to conduct similar surveys for companies. Sure, some of it may be annoying but really NRG is just doing it's job (in my case legitimately, hopefully they continue like that..) :-) At least they are not trying to sell you S**T like those telemarketers, they are the bane of my telephone answering life!

I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number. No message left. Now blocked.

The woman asked for me by my ex husbands last name which I haven't used in almost 20 years. I freaked out on her and said that's not my name and I refuse to have anything to do with her. She advised me to tell ICBC to change my name. Sorry lady, I did that 19 years ago.

Oi! Too weird to be called by a name from the far past AND for an agency to still have it on record. No wonder you freaked.My call came with no caller ID other than 'unknown name'. Why would a research Co. hide its name?The advent of millions of scam criminals using our phones to try to steal our money or identity or both has led to the death of the legit phone survey. For that reason, I don't participate as they hardly are 'representative' of the population (only representative of the relatively small percent that will answer unknown phone numbers anymore).

Pitch was rapid and covered everything from radio stations to RRSPs to the kitchen sink, so I kept asking for clarification and still didn't know what she was talking about. Told her I wouldn't answer any questions because I didn't know what subject she was asking about, and hung up.

They called me twice yesterday, and the day before yesterday. I have been blocking number like crazy, and my phone blocker blocks only 30 numbers only. I have to get a new phone that can block more numbers then 30 numbers. They called me so damn annoying. I told him to F OFF, and I do not do survey on the phone, and stop F ing calling me. Get a life,and a job stop calling people. You F ing Scammer.
