Odd to say the least. Got a call from 800-946-0332 ID said Capital One, answered no one there. 30 seconds later I get a call from 608-371-6666 had no caller ID other then Janesville, WI Answered and it was Capital One Auto Finance. I forgot to make the car payment!

Repeated attempts, call blocker caught some of them, but not all. No message left.

From comments - 24 + pages - looks like many scammers are using this same (fake?) number. NO caller ID here and ROBO alert auto-disconnected immediately.

This is the nomorobo number to report a number that wasn't blocked. If you have nomorobo and it picks up, they immediately call back spoofing the nomorobo number which they know can't be blocked because it's a legitimate number. It's their answer to nomorobo-- spoof their number.Caller ID is easy to spoof. Another trick they use is to spoof a number that matches your area code and first three digits. They replace the last four digits with an unused number. It looks like someone with your same exchange is calling, but it's not. Because every number is spoofed and they use lots of different ones, its hard (if not impossible) to block them all. It's a waste of time to report these numbers because they are spoofed anyway.

I have no sleep apnea equipment nor have I asked for any info and I get these calls

So sick of these calls even with (NMR) service - finally UN-PLUGGED the phone!! Now I can quickly go through the call log at my convenience and delete every scammer listed (unknown name/#) in seconds. If there's a caller I want to talk to, just have to call them back. Such a simple, FREE solution and the silence from NO MORE RINGING PHONE is fantastic!

Received 2 back to back calls from this number this morning: 10:32 and 10:33. Call wasn't answered and caller didn't leave a message. This number has called several times recently and each one has been reported here and elsewhere. Caller ID shows 16083716666.

Nomorobo blocked a call, and 4 seconds later this call came in.

This call sneaked through NoMoRoBo on my business line. Claimed he was from the Alliance Group and wanted to talk to my husband about helping the business grow. I told him we are already way too big and don't need any help from outsiders and then I hung up.

Yup, Nomorobo intercepted this call. Anyway, I will not pick up numbers from those I am not familiar with, or have any business with. Come Christmas Eve, I hope these losers get busted, and their badonkadonks (and the rest of their no good anatomy), get put behind bars, and a rule gets implemented on making such calls illegal.
