called, and when i answered had a recording in spanish, which hung up after 23 seconds. i returned call from caller id and was told number is not in service

There's a number you can use to block telemarketers. (Can't remember what it is, but I guess I'll have to use it.) I received this call during an office conversation with an important client on my office phone. They left no msg. Weird part, we don't usually have a signal down here in the basement. Probably from Nigeria or something. Main thing, if you don't recognize the number and there's no msg, don't call it back because 99% of the time it's a scam. And for goodness sakes, don't dial any number they tell you to dial. It's too bad the world if so full of con artists now adays. I wish the world was full of honesty and love instead of people preying on good, honest, hard working people. They'll have to answer to God one day.

Number keeps calling my daughters cell phone.

I answered this call on my cell phone and it was a robotic recording stating that I'd won an all expense paid trip to Cancun, Mexico.Then, I hung up.How do these companies get my cell phone number when I've never handed it out to anyone?

I got this, but I got the call in class, so I had to hang up, wasn't able to find out who it was.
