Good advice. To repeat: The DNC list will not and cannot stop scammers, phishers, crooks, spoofers, clowns and idiots from calling you. The DNC list is for you to stop legitimate callers that you wish to no longer call you.
This is a new one to me, and I have a list of more than 250 goofballs who have tried to call me with their baloney charities, fake sales, stupid prizes and whatnot. Caller ID says only "SUPPORTHEROS," no doubt to tug at your heart-strings and to get money from you with neverending scams. Most of the ones like this from this Area Code try to bang the drums of alleged patriotism so you will fall for their pitches to support police and fire departments. Bla-blah-blah.
Got a call (sounded like from a third world country) to support my state police retirement fund..... Yup!
Got call today, 5/30/16 at 10:23am. Phone only rang twice. CID showed just Columbus OH & phone number.

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
