Answered a call from 616-971-0229 MI, USA. A recorded message informed me that Obamacare is the law of the land and that if I wanted help getting medical insurance, press one. If I wanted to be removed press 2. It occurred to me later that a call from or on behalf of the federal government would not refer to the Affordable Health Care Act as Obamacare. I'm not sure what to make of this.

I received a call from the same number, 616-8971-0229 and same ID, "Special Message", didn't answer it. Call came through on 02/17/14. Just two hours before hand, I received a call from an "Out of Area" number and from ID, "Out of Area". I answered that call. A man named Daniel responded. He was representing CASH NET USA. I told him my number was on the DO NOT CALL LIST and he apologized and immediately hung up.

Received 3 calls from 616-971-0229 with ID "Special Message". All message were quite garbled and from "Brion Smiff", I'm thinking he's trying to say Brian Smith....lol. Heavy Indian or Nigerian accent. Something about "Iraq Services regarding a legal application for financial export in your name. Call me back at my number 888-725-1251. Don't disregard this message."

Robo-dialer. Obamacare spiel. Pressed one, guy answered "National Benefits". Informed him that he should fornicate with his robo-dialer and hung up. Blocked the number on my phone.

Caller ID said "SPECIAL MESSAGE." Just an Obamacare spammer probably wanting to ripoff foolish people by 'helping' them sign up. As if Obamacare is not enough of a ripoff on its on!

Received a call yesterday. It rang 1-1/2 times (I didn't answer), I saw Caller I.D. as "Special Message" but then call disappeared because I signed up for nomorrobo.com. Guess it works. Wish it wouldn't ring at all, but I'm happy that it at least goes away rather quickly.

Robo call ID was "OOA" and appeared to be a more typical type of scam call. Blathered on about prescription drugs, but didn't pay any attention to what was being said. May be a coincidence, but have received less scam calls since I started answering the calls, and giving out a fake name and credit card number. Have tried everything else - not answering calls, and blocking as many as possible, and still was getting 5 or 6 calls a day. Takes a LONG time for me to give out all of my fake information, and is a hoot, to pretend to be dumber than a box of rocks. Probably shall go back to never answering unknown calls, but for now, the added quiet is nice.

Just received a call from this "616 971-0229 SPECIAL MESSAGE" number today at 8:48pm today. The caller hung up as soon as the phone was answered. only heard a dial tone.
