This number - 628 333 6481 - called and I let it go to voicemail as I know no one in San Fran. There was a four second VM message left and I deleted it. Immediately upon hanging up the phone from deleting the VM, the number called AGAIN, leaving another four second VM that I had to delete again again. Sooooo annoying!

caller id = ab alarmviolation of dnc. Yeah, I want an alarm service whose first contact with me is a violation of the law. I don't think so, scum.

I have a Panasonic phone with talking caller ID, and I have no static. The only problem is that it mispronounces "Unavailable" and "Anonymous", but it 's good for a laugh. My phone blocks 250 numbers.

Please please tell me which model. I have an older model Panasonic with talking ID and want a new one that works without the static.

No Caller ID - therefore- No talk. Number is blocked. This number has called before and I checked the call log and there it was. I used to get many telemarketing/scam calls. My phone is via cable and I use a Panasonic telephone that has a setting to disable the first ring. My computer does not have a voice modem, so I purchased one for $10. The software I use is called Phonetray Free and works great. After the first call, a number is blocked and then no more calls. Each call is in a log that I can double check. The software also allows blocking of entire AREA CODES (like New York area, Miami, California, etc.). Only spoofed numbers can pass but since most spoofers are not too bright, they use the same number therefore no problem. My call volume has dropped by 99%. Phonetray Free has been replaced by Phonetray Pro from Softonic ($30). The old Phonetray free (1.39) is still available on the internet. I have no personal stake in any of this.

This number called my home phone at 6:40 on a Saturday morning. Norobo.com caught it, but still, 6:40 in the freaking morning????

My Panasonic phone allows me to block up to 250 numbers. It also allows you to block with as little as 2 numbers (so I can block say 21 and it will block all codes that start with 210. I have 99% on all possible area codes (including fictitious area codes and toll free #s) blocked and still have spare blocking available (do the math). I've made exceptions for area codes where I know people. I love the silence!!!

They called me on a Saturday morning at 7:10am. I did not answer, but I blocked their number.
