Got the call too... didn't pick up. I swear our cell phone providers sell our lists... I bet they do.
Receive a call on my cell but didn't answer it. This is the latest ruse. Why does the CRTC not mandate that calls originating from a particular number, going all over the country, are not blocked after a certain number by your service provider until the caller provides justification for the calls. They call numbers that are on the do-not-call list with impunity. What exactly does this useless list cost us?
I just got a call from this number. I do not bother answering when I don't recognize the number. I am upset that these people are allowed to get away with it. I am on the do not call list but I am sure it does not apply to numbers originating outside Canada.

Just got a call from this number. No name listed, so didn't answer. Figured if it is important they will call back. Then looked up the number on Google and found this forum. Obviously question regarding importance answered.
Stupid [***] people keep calling me. I get frequent calls on my cell from them in NY and another one in DC and one in Quebec, like weekly, and I never answer them since I know no one in the states. I'm honestly tempted to just go in a rage on one of them but I'm guessing it's all automated. I'm on the DNC list.WIth Bell Mobility in Guelph.

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
