Received the pre-recorded message that said there was an unusual transaction charged to credit card noted by the Visa security office and to call them if I did not make this purchase. I have charged significant or unusual (from the financial institution’s perspective) transactions to my Visa card in the past. In all of these situations, a representative from the bank called and spoke to me directly, not via a pre-recorded message. I spoke to my bank about this. They confirmed that their practice continues to be speaking directly to customers about potential fraudulent charges. The bank agreed this is a credit card scam.
I was also called from this number claiming that there was unusual activity on my credit card.

Visa verification headquarters, I don't think so!! Visa would not use a robot to contact me.
Message said it was from Visa and that there had been a suspicious purchase.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
