Don't they get it? When they have called you over and over and you do not respond, they should know that you are NOT INTERESTED!! Now it is just an annoying call.

Same here. What I did is finally answer the call and acted like I was interested and scheduled a time for a sales rep to visit but gave them the address of the police department. Hope they showed up and had their time wasted. Haven't heard from them since.

I asked someone to contact me about windows, but we had something come up, so it's going to have to wait. I have mentioned this 3 times to someone. They call both my work number and my cellphone number one after another. Today on my work line, I asked again to not be contacted. 30 seconds later my cellphone rang, but it was a different person. I will never do business with people who treat their potential customers like this. I have bought plenty in the store and done it myself, but the patio door I just put in came from another company.

Most likely you showed interest when the canvasing people came door to door and gave them your information. They will keep calling every day and several times a day. It's best to not answer the door, just say no if you do answer the door or if you're one of those folks who can't be mean just give them a fake phone number to call.
