Invest in a good call blocker app for your cell phone. That and use Google Voice. It will auto block most of these calls as spam.

Papaw51, your ignorance is astounding. These people are trying to rip people off. Those in debt have the least to steal so they are the least targeted. I have a credit score well above 800 yet I get these calls.

Got a call, showing only the phone #, not even location this time. It hung up as it rolled to v/m. Getting way too many of scam/spam calls this past year. My bills are paid, I don't owe IRS money, nor have I signed up for any trip or prize in years, which generates vacation/cruise calls. This is just very annoying, and yes, I am on DNC lists for both home and cell, and get calls to each phone weekly. Obviously random robot calls, but when will this get stopped?

I don't answer phone calls that I don't know. If they want to talk to me they can leave a message and I can call back IF I want to.

BC.... Judging from the PILE OF BS you just wrote sounds like you work for a collection agency... I pay my bills and My credit is exceptional... These are spoofed number scam calls. Most likely from out of the country. Get your head and your [***] wired together.. This happens to me at least 3 times a day both on my work cell phone and my personal cell phone. I am on the Do Not Call list like millions of other Americans and it is getting worse by the day... People come here to collaborate in order to find a solution to ending this mess. We don't need condescending remarks from people like you who assume they know what others situations are ... Assumption is the mother of all [***].

What everyone needs to understand is that these calls have absolutely nothing to do with paying or not paying your bills, etc.! These callers are criminals attempting to steal/defraud innocent victims of their money. Or they are trying to get your personal information to gain access to your bank account credit card, etc. or steal your identity. Very Important: Do not answer these calls or engage them in conversation!!!!! If you have a business and must answer your phone, hang up immediately when you realize the call is not legit and again, do not engage in conversation. To do so only encourages more calls. Their are call blocking features on some mobile phones or call blocking apps for mobile phones. Also, their are cordless phones which have a call blocking feature and actual call blocker devices. Remember these calls are from criminals! It is shocking the number of people who get taken everyday by these scammers! Do not be one of their many victims, be informed and spread the warning to others!!
