Got a call from this number at 10 AM local time. Caller ID said the caller was "Unavailable". Answering machine was OFF and I let the call ring until they got tired of ringing and hung up.If I want dead air, I can always listen to the politicians.

This is a major robo call center in the 660 area code with every type of scam call you can imagine and with many different CID spoofed names. I have blocked the entire 660 area code with my CPR blocker which has up to 1200 black list numbers. Fortunately I have no friends, relatives, or business contacts in that area code.

Congress is busy working on this problem?

Same old, same old as everyone else. I can't keep up with all the scam callers.

Another call today 9:40am. Congress passed laws with major exceptions for themselves, charities, and surveys. It doesn't really mater because criminals ignore the no call list which is NOT a call blocker and there is almost no enforcement.

Yep, probably a robodialer! When I picked up, I asked, "Slater, MO, what can I do for you today?" A recorded msg started to play and then it hung up automatically. Have fielded calls from this number before and in my book it is a harassment call! I did not ask this place to call me and think this kind of cold call should be outlawed!

Caller ID said "Missouri call".' Whoever they were, they didn't leave a message and I didn't answer. They have called before.

Everyone says "don't answer calls you don't recognize." I run a home business and cannot ignore calls that might be from customers or vendors.

Worthless information, as usual. My call was not from a debt collector, and I'm sure yours wasn't either. You provide no service to this site when you "guess" who the caller is, then give worthless advice on how to handle such calls. Makes me wonder if you are part of the scqm.
