They called my very private cell phone number at 9:15 AM PDT on 17 June 2017, which is a Saturday, by the way. The caller ID said "Out of Area". I did not answer. They left a partial voicemail in Spanish. My phone numbers are on the Do Not Call list. I will report them to DoNotCall.gov.Never call them back, not even from a blocked phone. They have ways to unmask your phone number even when it is blocked.
Called my cell phone, which I do not give out. Did not answer since I don't recognize the number. Came to this site ot check,a nd sure enough, scam. And like Dino Aerospace, called six minutes later while I was reading 800Notes. Now blocked. Goodness, at this rate I will have blocked 90% of the US telephone numbers!
I don't answer calls if I don't know the number. This caller kept calling but would not leave a message. I blocked the call after the 3rd call in a row.
Another blocked number, they don't even leave a voicemail or proper caller ID. If you have given your phone number, and we all do, to your cable company, internet provider, or *surprise*, cellphone provider, they sell our numbers, in bulk, to any and all comers, legit or not. I busted a huge cable company doing this, I give my phone number out to no one, but I hate phones.
Someone needs a new tinfoil hat. They don't need to buy numbers when then can simply dial all of them with an automatic dialing system.
Did not answer because I did not recognize the number. Looked it up and found all of you who did receive and answer - so I got my answer - a recorded message that I am going to block - so thank you to all of you that did answer it.
Received two calls this morning on my vehicles OnStar number? How in the world did they get that number? It's unlisted? Didn't recognize so I didn't answer, I'm sure in the hell not wasting my minutes on a crap call!

I received a text with this phone number stating that it was from the United States Postal Service and that I needed to open up an urgent notice from them.

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
