Just got a call from this number on my cell phone. No one on the line when I answered. Odd ...
11.17.10 Just had the same experience as all the above bloggers. I asked how the caller (male, polite but assertive) had accessed my cell ph # since I'm on the No Call list, and he replied "from one of our associate partners". I WISH I'd thought to demand who that "partner" is and traced the link to whomever is providing cell ph #'s to this X@#$%O!@# company.
Received a call twice this week on my cell while I'm in work. Was unable to catch the call so I called back & I heard all circuits are busy. My cell is supposed to be listed on the Do Not Call Registry!
Received a call from the same number. It sounded more like the person was a pre-recorded response type thing. I asked a question and the answer had nothing to do with what I said. Then I asked for the person's name and they went on with something else. I asked if they could here me and the voice kept going. It really seemed pre-recorded.
Just got this too...wanted to visit my home for a free security system. Told him I had one and did not need his services. He asked if I was under a monthly contract with my provider, I asked how he got the number (my cell) and he hung up.
Just got the same 701 call. For this and many other calls (especially the politcal ones) caller ID is worth every penny.
