I've got the same message on April 16th and informed my friends to avoid answering a phone call from this number.
Called at 2:00 am and woke me up scared me..no message left but gave me problems going back to sleep. This seems to be from the Dakotas
just received a call from this number. Caller ID said "Reset". When I answered someone hung up. I am on the do not call list.
Just got a call from person claiming to be Bank of America regarding my debit card. They said they had a problem transaction and would like to verify information to fix the locked debit card. I don't have a BOA debit card. This appears to be a fraud fishing transaction and likely did not come from Bank of America. Suspicious number 701-509-8703 I did not punch "1" to do the fix.
Not answering unknown callers, see this one is a big scam; who can we contact to stop it...already on do not call list for cell phones...
I received a call on my cell phone from 701-509-8703 and it was one of those computerized, automated messages. It purported to be from Bank of America, stating that due to security issues, my debit card had been locked and that I needed to press 1 to unlock it. The problem is, I don't have a B of A account. I contacted B of A and they stated that they have received many calls about this type of scam over the last few days.
I got a call from this number at 5am this morning!! I did not answer (obviously), but I was pretty pissed they were calling at 5am! Thanks for the info...
I got a call from this number on my ell phone telling me my debit card was missing and I was supposed to press 1 to speak with a reporesentative...I dont even own a debit card..must me a prank caller.
I also got a call from this number today with a recording stating that the call was from Bank of America & my debit card had been deactivated due to a report that it had been lost or stolen. I immediately called the bank to report the fraudulent call & the phone number. I have my own opinions of what should happen to the companies &/or people who are involved in this sort of scam!!! My recommendation - hang up!!!
