It is a SCAM, DO NOT PICK UP.... these people drive me insane, even when I´m in the national No-calls Database.
I also received a call from this number. Typical scam call. I heard the goal is to get you to answer so they know it's a number that is assigned to a real person. They then sell the number in lots to whomever the telemarketing firm is that buys them. I get calls from all over the country as my phone has essentially been hi-jacked. There are apps to block these but I shouldn't have to limit what calls I receive by a list I create. I assume I can't think of everyone so I haven't done it yet. But I'm sure leaning towards it. "Mr. Number" is one of the apps.

This is a SCAM-Goes to voice mail and asks you to leave your SSN. The social security admin will never ask you to leave your SSN on a voice mail. Letter looks very official, but it's not.
