Next time they call you answer it and tell them to stop or feel your wrath. Go buy either a whistle or and air horn at the dollar store. When they call back, and they will, tell them I told you to lose , stop calling my phone and now you will feel my wrath. This is when you blow the whistle or air horn into the phone. I did this with the calls from Jamaica telling me I won the Lottery in Florida. I don't live in or have been to Florida since the 1960's as a kid. I blew the whistle and have never had a call back from them.

Relentless solar spammer. Been calling for months but the number is blocked and their calls never ring through. Doesn't stop them though. They just called three times in the space of one minute. All calls were blocked. Sweet. I at least have the satisfaction of knowing that they are completely wasting their time.

Same caller, same area code, 17 minutes later?The caller, Annapolis CA ( displayed as ID on our phone. ) called us @ 11:57, we opted not to answer unwanted call. Spammers and scammers make calls that way because they are trying to evade the answering machines and voice mails that take over after 4 or more rings. They can get 12 rings this way, thinking that someone who can't get to the phone in time will pick up the phone, or it's a hassling trick to make the recipient think their answering machine or voice mail isn't working correctly.

I received a call from 707-836-9630. Caller ID was WINDSOR CA I let it ring because I do not answer unknown callers. No message was left. I went to my call blocker to block the number and it was there with a time stamp of 10:30 AM, but there was another number that called at 10:17AM, that number was 7356315. No area code, no hyphens like all the others, but I was sitting next to the phone since 6:00AM and it never rang at 10:17AM. I believe they are seeing if it is a live number before they call with a spoofed number. I would really like to hear from hackers out there to see what they do to spoof numbers.

Called Sunday, 9 August, 2015, (Nagasaki Anniversary Day) @2:49PM PDT. Due to past calls the entire 707 area code is blocked as I don't know anyone there. No disturbing ringing and only know they called by checking log. Ah, the sweet rewards of technology!

I don't warn them. I give them the most foul cussing out I can think of at the time. They get the idea right away.
