These are 'robo calls.' They don't need to have your number. The machine simply dials every number in sequence and stops when someone picks up. They often use multiple numbers, from all over the US, that are leased, or a kind of time share, from a data company, that ties up entire blocks of numbers. So, even if you are on a do not call list, to stop them from calling, you have to contact every single number in that block and give them the same information. It is truly ridiculous; and you can thank the members of both Houses of Congress that stupidly believe that we should not regulate, legislate or infringe upon any business owner's right to make money, no matter the effect upon the rest of us. Best advice, is to NOT answer calls that youare not familiar with and NEVER call them back. And, furthermore, get rid of those who actually believe thatbusinesses will police themselves and do not need to be involved with "..regulation, litigation and taxes.." This is one old Republican who knows better.

Recorded Spanish message

I just received one about 5 mins ago, I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number but when I tried to call the number it says it's disconnected.

I got a call on my cell phone today July 5,2012 and i don`t want them.It use`s up my min.

Got a call yesterday from this phone # 1 (712) 986-2323 @4:31pm on 06/20/2012 didnt see my phone missed the call and 5 minutes later got a call frtom tottally block # missed that one too. called the number back today and it says " the number you have reached is no longer in service and has been disconected "

Keeps calling every other day and is in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish, when I call back says its disconnected. And if I don't answer it they leave a message in Spanish which kills my minutes because I have to delete the message.
