its unknown...its a one way calling format that can be orginiated from anywhere and skipped through this number as to 'hide' its orginiating point of entry.... usually some generalized format: You owe something, want something, won a trip, need a loan...etc...

Tried calling back to 712 986 2525 and told that it is dis conected

It is called spoofing. It is known. They are The Berkley Group and Caribbean Cruise Line both out of Florida. The free cruise that is not free is to market a timeshare for The Berkley Group. They take every precaution to avoid being detected. Many names used and the websites do not have any location address. They try to get around violating TCPA with the survey, but it does not work because they are trying to sell something. TCPA still applies with surveys when it is robodialed, so they are sol. They tried this defense regarding a Fox News interview. The FTC is investigating them. In 2000 several Attorney Generals sued. They have called millions of people and now they are invading Canada. There are at least 4 class action lawsuits pending against them. People on here that are posting should report them to their state Attorney General, Florida Attorney General, FTC, FCC. These people need to be stopped and they will. There are other companies affiliated with them as well and they all will be held accountable for their violations under law. You are entitled to relief under the law.

Received call from this number at 9:56am on my cell. Answered and got a recording saying I won a free Caribbean vacation, for more info to press 1 or to opt out press 2. Just hung up on it instead.

survey autodialed.

I had a missed call on my cell from the same number. I just want to warn you all to NOT sign up on the "DO Not call list"! Ever since I did I have been receiving all sorts of harassing calls. Another bright idea from our messed up government!

I tried calling back and got the same thing. I guess these people have nothing better to do than bother others. Hope they catch them.

They've called 3 times, once just now (11:00 am Oct 3)

I got a call on my cellphone last night from this #. When I called it back, a recording said I had reached a number that had been disconnected. So --- if it's disconnected, how is somebody calling from it?? Garbage!!

We receive calls from this number all the time, don't answer.
