Here is what you should know they do call forward from disconnected numbers so information is few and scarce with them.They are telemarketers or scammers in some shape or form.
I got this call today. The number that shows up on your Caller I.D. probably isn't the actual number that the call is coming from. With VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) these scammers can change anything that shows up on your Caller I.D such as the company name or city or the number itself. If you contact the FTC or anyone else about these calls they will just send you a form letter or e-mail that thanks you for contacting them and that they are working their hardest to prevent calls like this from happening but it's very difficult blah, blah, blah. It doesn't matter if your name is on the Do Not Call list or not. These scammers just ignore the list and call whoever they want. I don't think anything is going to be done while the current administration is in the White House. It's not like they've done anything about anything else unless it involves smearing their critics.
9/25/12 got this call too. My husband also got a call from the same # last week. Gotta be a robo caller. No messages, but my best advice would be to not take a call if you don't know the number.
I got a call from this number last night, 9/25/12 at 7:48 and I did not answer. No message was left. All caller Id shows is the number and IA, USA. I got a second call from the same number just a few minutes ago so I searched the number and ended up here. Obviously some sort of telemarketing or scam. I would lean towards scam!
they called on my Cell phone. I have registered with the do not call both for my cell and my home phone but I still receive unwanted calls from every where I do not know why would they make people sign up not to receive a call and they still get unwanted calls any ways!
