Don't stress! This is a very large, very legitimate company. My boss takes their calls and doesn't take 99% of the calls that come in!

My store received a call from them this morning and my associate answered. They wanted to verify the address to mail a refund check to me. Sounded hinky, so I told the associate that i was not here, don't verify anything and take a message. They left no message and said they would mail the check anyway. After reading through the previous posts, I have to wonder why they would send a refund check to me. I have never done business with them in the past, and the phone books they are delivering (if that is the case) are free. If I didn't get one, what refund would there be? Still sounds hinky to me.

Got a call this morning. I fed it to my fax machine.

Sorry to hear that..I am sure I am not the one calling. Hey, how about this..why don't you call back and let the person know that YOU DO NOT HAVE A BUSINESS. Just a "crazy" suggestion!

This phone number keeps calling repeatedly and says he is testing the lines.

It is the newly re-branded Talking Phone Book. The call is from their center in Buffalo to verify you got your new directory. Answering the call helps the person who delivered the book correctly get paid.

No its not. I just answered them, they asked for someone who doesn't even live at this address, and then I asked who was calling, they just hung up in my ear.

MK- get another job... if you can't understand that you are being annoying, maybe you should be at the receiving end of your nonsense! To paraphrase you..."You are an annoying tele-marketer! Not a business consultant!"
