This number called my cell phone. Caller ID showed Longmont, CO. This robot idiot claiming to be from the IRS left a message of which the end of it was recorded, " ... please call immediately after this IVR recording at our headquarters number, that is 720 204 3770. I repeat 720 204 3770. IRS agent is waiting for your call back." This was followed by 10 seconds of dead air, probably waiting for the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) before the recording ended.

I got the same exact call yesterday. I didn't answer and they left a voicemail with the same message as above

I received this same message from 720-204-3770 about the IRS filing a lawsuite. I've also received this same call from 360-208-0864 at 10:20am this morning. 208-776-1876 is also the same scam number

I returned the call and they proceeded to tell me that the IRS has an outstanding warrant for my arrest, then On to their verbal mumbo jumbo and the amount was allegedly $3989. I asked for confirmation of the amount and that the IRS had issued a warrant over that? She said yes, I said please provide the warrant number. Dead silence, return of caller said WPJ 123 and hung up. Scammers

Saying to call back that it was the IRS awaiting a call back.

I've received several of these scam calls from different area codes; I like to call right back and in calm monotone repeat the words F@#$ You over and over and over and over and over again until they get so mad they scream, hang up, and stop answering their phone. Very satisfying.

I got this call too. The IRS would not make thus type of call. They will contact you by letter if it is a legitimate claim against you.

Says they are the IRS, it is a robocall and they want you to call immediately.
