I went to the National Do Not Call Registry and filed a complaint. They claim to have info about your credit cards and will lower your rate. Only, I don't have any credit cards. When I pressed 1 to speak to an operator, he hung up on me as soon as he realized I was not buying anything.
Better than what I got when I asked to be removed (for about the fifth time), which was, "Hey, don't ask me for any favors."
Not everyone lives like you. I have perfect credit, no debts, and still they call. The only ones that should "man-up" are the sleazy organizations that 'bottom-feed' like this, and yes, as long as we have 'bottom-feeders', we need 'exterminators' - sort of like needing police to find criminals which you are probably OK with. Did this explanation make a dent yet? Bet not! Duh to you! (just like tag on the playground, right?)
Got a call 10 min ago, called back and got a recorded msg saying this number is no longer valid.
Got a call last night at 9. Called it back and recording says "not a working #" Have gotten several of these in the past weeks. Really annoying, especially if I can't talk to a human and have my name removed.

they keep calling me asking if i am or know sombody
"Greater Nevada Credit Union Fraud Prevention" called and left message. We called bank directly, no prob with our cards or account. Incidentally, we always get a bunch of scam calls after posting something to Craigs List or FB Market Place.

This number comes up as a match to my name on Microsoft search results, and with a different age than MY true age. There is no other ME who has the same first, middle and last name spelled like this that I EVER came across. It's definitely a scam!

Scotia bank fraud Dept calling about a change to my account
I just tried to log into my SS account and could see that this number was trying to get a code to gain access. This country is OUTTA CONTROL. Hey Elmo is this you and your teen gang?
SCAM - Caller with Indian accent claimed to be calling from Barclays credit card fraud department. Asked for personal information. Just hang up.
This number made an unauthorized charge on my PAYPAL account. I had no dealings with them.
