Grabbed an old check from Canadian Pharmacy and combined with email address. Low life scammer.
Same scam as everyone reporting here. Email with correct name, address, mobile phone, bank account, accurately citing an unremarkable e-check from October for pmt to an international pharmacy - demanding $770 USD by 1/27 in order not to disseminate that information and somehow vaguely embarrass me. Bank account is now closed; not concerned about threat but concerned about e-check hacking.
Scam text and email asking for bit coin. Have bank account information. Threatening to divulge non existing information. Don't know I'm an old widower who doesn't care.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
