I get several calls a week from this number and it is getting annoying. I did what you have suggested and called back to hit #1. Hopefully this will work. Thanks for everyone's input!
I just got a call from Financial Education too. Wanted to know if I received their offer in the mail to lower my visa interest rates. I said no. You must have mistaken it for a credit card offer. The offer is still good if your credit history is still the same. I said yes. I pay all my credits cards in full when I receive them. He hung up on me. Used *69 to get their number. Held for operator. They are closed. THEY JUST CALLED! Weird. Guess they want people that can't pay on time so they can run up the interest payments. I better not get a new credit card in the mail. I'm calling back to remove myself from their phone list. I'm on the do not call list so I'm going there next to report them.
I am on the National DO NOT Call list and have gotten 2 phone calls from them today, exactly 4 hours apart. When I spoke to them, they seem to think their No Call liust trumps the National list. I wonder how the FTC would feel about that? They hung up both times when they called me today.
I am getting tired of this obvious scam. If everyone calls AT& T and keeps calling them, maybe they will get tired of it and turn off this persons phone service. I don't know where this message is going to but if it is a phone company, get busy and stop this phone number from calling.
they call everyday and hang up , I finally spoke to some one I found on google, she was looking for some one else, I told her she had the wrong number, she said she would take me off the list, she did't I filed a complaint with our attorney genreal, this place is a collection agentey that calls and hangs up
If you entered the HGTV dream house giveaway, this could be the source. Why you ask? It's the only place I gave out my number and then the calls came in from (727) 260-5510... could be a coinsidence that my # got out to someone else but what a good one it would be.
