same with me - I entered the giveaway for HGTV but didn't give out the "house phone" - I only give out my cellphone # when I (get that I) deem it to my advantage. I NEVER GIVE OUT THE OTHER NUMBER. Like others, they call, dont leave msg, call numerous times; I have recalled the number, spoke to a person, I get so mad when I find out who's calling, I hang up. I've told them to remove my number - never call here again or I will report them!!! I'm sure they figure - big deal - apparently there are tons of numbers out there that they use for themselves.What can we do to stop these shennanigans?

I looked this number up using my search engine. upon seeing this I reported it to ythe do not call registry. There is a phone number for the do not call registry to report unwanted phone calls. It is1-888-382-1222
A very polite system with option #1 to remove a phone number from the call list. If you hold on, you can remove another phone number as well. Easy to use and I hope it works.
I have already got 2 calls from these sobs today. They never leave a message, but I pressed *69 and that was the number. I have reported it to the police, but they just say everybody gets them, and just hang up, well that's not the issue, it's damn harrassment and trying to rob me over the phone. I pay my phone bill and I don't do it to get cranky calls like this, something should be done, like a class action lawsuit. maybe we should set up an appt with these [***] somewhere and beat the living hell out of them, I am at that point. It's not fair these crooks gets away with it.
