Ignored the call, left this voicemail: "Congratulations! Your business has been approved for a $250,000 loan". Obviously a scam, since I would not be the main point of contact and they called my cell phone.
Called my cell phone during business hours, didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer, no message left so I blocked the call.
Third call from these people offering up to a $250,000 loan to my company. I:'m retired with no company. Pressed "2" to be removed AGAIN. Next time might apply for the loan, A cruise with my wife would be nice.
Can someone just please explain to me what the point of these calls are. I get 2-3 of these kind of calls a day. I get it if people are trying to sell something, or even scam you. At least that makes some financial sense for them. However, anytime I actually both to answer one of these calls, it is dead silence and the call just hangs up after a couple seconds. I mean what is the purpose? Who is spending the money to continuously call people for absolutely no reason? Are these just independent nitwits using some sort of calling system that they have not setup properly, so you do not actually hear the robo-message? Inquiring minds want to know!

Got 2 calls from this number stating that it is a colect call from an inmate. We don' t know anyone who is an inmate anywhere.

FAX MACHINE CALLING
This number keeps calling me. The message they leave is like a clicking sound. No one speaks. Very odd. I’m blocking this number

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.
