I recently downloaded a product called Phone Tray. It used to be free, but now the free version is no longer available, but it's only $30 and worth every penny. It will zap all the tele. numbers you enter, and that's it! The phone rings once before the number is zapped. I highly recommend it. You can program unlimited numbers...AND you can block entire area codes such as 360, 206; 253;877. That alone will cut out 60% of the calls. Good luck!
I am on the Do Not Call list. You'd never know it. I get calls daily, several times a day. When I tried to call back I got no answer. That's when I got on line. I DO NOT WANT ANY SALES CALLS! Period.
The research we inquire about is usually political, or something pertaining to your area. It will eventually lead to numbers and statistics that you will be reading about, both nationally and locally. How do you think those numbers are obtained? You're being given an opportunity to voice your opinion, virtually anonymously to the caller, we only see a number and state, about the surveys given topic. Whether it's hydrofracking in your area, Governor elections in your state, politicians you may or may not like, building pipelines through your communities. Whether you're for the [***] or not, wouldn't you like that information to be passed along?
727-819-9536, KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND IT USES MY MIN. UP ON MY CELL PHONE, PLEASE TRY TO PUT A STOP TO THIS. tHANK YOU
727-819-9536 called me asking if I would participate in a political survey. I asked who was asking. She answered Central Research Polling. I asked how long it would take. She said 5-8 minutes. I asked if they had a website. She said she didn't have time for this! She did say, "Have a nice day" though, so she remained cordial. Funny that the shoe was on the other foot.
Called my number after the legal time allowed to call. I have added my "special ringtone" to this number so I will never be tempted to answer. Not quite a block, but good enough for their efforts to prove useless.
Called twice in two days. First time Caller ID said "CENTRAL MKTG", the second time it just said "NAME UNAVAILABLE." From the same number (hmmmm). I didn't answer and they didn't leave voice message either time. Clearly a tele-"mktg" call by the Caller ID, making them in violation of DNC list that I've been on for years.
That would be Leo you're talking about. Lmao he is a total creep. Him, and Mary work like over 60 hours a week while we're lucky if we get 20 hours a week. They tell you how many surveys to get in an hour and if you don't get them you get sent home. The place is a revolving door of felons, probation people, drug addicts, homeless, etc. But there are alot of good people who got roped in, and are living paycheck to paycheck temporarily making ends meet.
727-819-9536 called twice today. I answered both times. First time, they hung on the open line for several seconds, but did not answer, so I hung up on them. The second time, they cut the line as soon as I said 'hello.' Is it coincidence that I received these calls within hours of calling a hospital to pay my bill and being transerred by them to their "automated payment line," a voice response system which proceeded to ask me all details of my credit card and address, and after it had all that information said, "sorry, this isn't working" and looped back to the beginning of the process without confirming or taking my payment. Hmmm. I wonder who may have been tapping in on that automated system? Just speculating, but I think maybe it would pay to get my credit card number changed asap. I will call my credit card company to relate what has happened and monitor my account daily until then.
