Glad you posted Susie. They have now called 4 times in 4 hours... and on a Sunday. I know it's allowed, however it's really obnoxious to get robo calls non stop.

Not only that, but they call from area codes literally all over the country...

Them not being highly rated by the BBB doesn't mean that isn't a valid debt...

They spoof the numbers because they know we catch on to the number they're calling from and either ignore the call & let it go to voice mail (as I usually do) or block it. If they spoof the number, they know it takes us a few calls to figure out who it is before we block it and they have to spoof another number. Never ending circle. Our only choices are to answer the phone and deal with them or pay the bill if we truly owe the debt they're calling about. I have no income presently so I choose to just ignore the calls. I have nothing to say to them. My credit is wrecked already. There's nothing they can do to make it worse. The only thing I might consider doing is reporting them for the excessive calling. 5 or more calls a days, really? If I haven't answered the first two or 3 give it up for the day. Its a good bet I'm not going to answer at all for the rest of the day. And leave some kind of message to let me know who it is tried to reach me. Teach the damn robot to say "Hi, Credit One Bank calling. We have an important matter we need to discuss with you at your convenience. Please call us at xxx-xxx-xxxx." Where's the harm in being friendly?
