I got the same call today. They threatened to call the local authorities if I didn't send in a good faith payment. It turns out that I didn't even open the loan myself. what will happen if I don't pay them

I have never been contacted by these lowlifes, however I felt compelled to add my 2 cents because I simply despise bullies. First of all: NEVER PAY ANYTHING TO ANYBODY until you have written proof from them FIRST. That written proof should include the total amount of the debt, any payment arrangements you have made with them, and a statement that once you pay the debt will be satisfied. Do your research...google LaToya Irby; she writes a very good blog about clearing up your debt, and most importantly ~ what our rights are.

I have nosted that one page says there was 56 post but when you look on the page there gone.Seems shady to me. I agree I do think they are running from something.

That "man" is "Special" only in his inferior eyes.Threats of legal action are illegal. Collectors are not legal professionals. If they want to take legal action, they are free to hire a horde of hungry lawyers who will file a complaint in civil (note--civil) court.Just tell the various "Special" types that you are recording the conversation and will report his/her threat/s to the proper authorities and get your attorney (regardless of whether you've got one or can afford one) on this case right away.Then, wish her/him/it "have a nasty day" and hang up.

I received a called threaten me to send over a $110.00 to a company by the name of J S Resolution Group at 3842 Harlem road, Cheektowaga N.Y 14225. The phone number given was 855 296 7966 Ext 107. They also threaten to serve me court papers and bring me to jail on check fraud if I did not comply to this demand. This is a SCAM. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
