The fact that "Shannon" has never responded to the replies to "her" in nearly a year, without any further proxies to explain the multiple calls, is glaring proof of the scam nature of the operation. None of the other "defenders" have responded, either. It is interesting to see how "business" assumes the gullibility of the majority of the population. There are those who would see the few "defenses" and "explanations" and, soft of heart and head will go with them as truth-tellers.

I'm reporting this number for hassement to the authorties.

The blessing is in the giving. Don't stress over what the reciever does with it. He'll get his and you will get yours! Keep smiling. Be happy!

Hope House is a very legit charity. I've donated several times and know children and mothers who have received their collected donations. If you are looking for an awesome charity, visit www.fostercares.org - Rachel Ewald is a true hero to hundreds of foster children in GA. Hope House does something similar, but I know Rachel personally and she would never cheat the children she cares for.

I will never donate to these harassers! They have called us for 2 years solid, since we moved and got a new number. They call almost daily and oftentimes 3 times in a day. They have called early in the morning and late at night. I have only answered one time, and no one responded. If I never answer my phone for another 2, even 20 years, I know they will still continue to call my house for that long.But the thing I HATE the most about Hope House and NSPIRE for that matter, both are Atlanta charities, is that when the call goes to voice mail, their phone leaves the loudest, ear-splitting tone on my machine. I have been woken up out of a sound sleep at 8 am by this tone. I have programmed all of their numbers in my phone so they don't ring, but then this tone they harass you with had made it so I have been forced to turn off my answering machine permanently just to get away from it.

I believe you may be one of their reps. These people are relentless and call at any time of the day Sunday thru Saturday, day and night.They will not get my dime until the act like other charities. I am a big supporter of charities, but hope house and inspire outreach, they are horrible.Elizabeth

I receive many calls a day from these folks but it goes in spurts. I won't hear from them for awhile and then the calls start up again. I have a call blocking device (LOVE IT!) and have added them to it. I also have my VM and answering machine set to OFF so that they will never hear anything on their end but "ring, ring, ring". You'd think they'd give up, but no, these folks are extremely persistent. If, after a year of trying a particular number, you haven't ever reached a live person, how about you just mark that number off your list?!?!?!? No matter, however, because my call blocker is doing a fantastic job of keeping them from bothering me. I have never had any dealings with them and won't. I give my clothing, electronics, etc. to Goodwill, where I take it myself. After all these postings and my local Atlanta news station doing an investigation on them, they've got a snowballs chance in hell of me ever helping them!

FINALLY, I think you are the only person who has addressed the ear-splitting noise. I have posted about it several times, finally someone knows what I have been going thru. I don't care how good or wonderful this charity is or how much thy do for people or how many people they help/helped/or will help if if they continually [***] the people they are trying to get money and/or donations from.

Hope house called me several times today and when I called back, they signed me up with gift services at 470-228-1677. Gift services harassed me for several hours and then stopped calling. That's what I called having too much time at their disposal.Helok0

I posted about this too, both Hope House and NSPIRE call daily up to three times a day, no one answers the phone if you do pick up, and they leave an ear-splitting noise that comes thru the phone when the answering machine picks up. They are the only charities that have done this non-stop for 2 years solid.
