These folks call me several times each day. Comcast is supposed to be blocking them, my phone does not ring, but the Comcast call report lists that hope calls my number 5 or 6 times in a row. They just won't stop. This cannot be a reputable organization as reputable ones don't solicit like this.

Hope House called me for donations for battered women. I recently moved and had a lot of things to donate. One was a dresser which they said that wanted but he driver was alone and would needed help loading it. They would pick up between 7AM and 7PM. So I had all my things on the porch waiting for them to come so I could help. Everything was out by 7AM and was still there at 7PM... I called and got an answering machine. I called again today and got an answering machine. They were a "no show" and I worked very hard collecting things for them and they blew me of. So obviously I don't trust them and will block their number. I'll take everything to the Salvation Army. They are a reliable organization and grateful for contributions. As far as I know, Hope House is a sham.

I had a total of five calls from Hope House at 8:25 am on April 27, 2015. Fortunately I have the capability to block them at the phone company central office so the phone never rang. I also can download a call dump of all the calls I have received including, date, time, calling number and duration of the call. I plan to file a complaint with the FTC and whoever else will listen to me since I have a solid piece of evidence against this organization. This is ridiculous. Who would donate anything to a company that harasses people in this way.

Received 6 of these calls within a 10 minute period today. I view this as nothing more than harassment. If it's a legitimate organization, they are destroying their chances in ever obtain any donations from me.

This is from Hope House looking for donations of clothing and household items. I gave to them before, but moved from Georgia 2 years ago. They still keep calling me a few times a week.

Hope Housr is real but they don't call for donations and their real # is 678-298-2073 and what's come across my caller ID is 770-807-3915. I called HOPE HOUSE to request them to remove my # from their database and I was told they don't solicitat by calling residents.

Hope House has also worked under the name of Nspire. Their posted mission is a good one.Early on, we did make some donations to them.However, they called so frequently and at such terrible hours that we politely asked them to stop calling. They refused, stating that as a charity they are exempt from do not call lists and can call if they want to.We explained that we no longer wish to donate to their cause because of the frequency and intrusiveness of the calls. We also told them that since we were declaring we would never donate to them again, the only logical reason they would still be calling us would be to intentionally harass us.They kept calling.We escalated this to a local news station. That station did a story on the situation complete with interviews of me and the person that runs the charity (Gregg Kennard).Greg Kennard said he would address the issue with additional training. This was back in 08 or 09. Here we are in 2015 and these people still harass us.Multiple news stories have been run on this organization. Most cast a negative light on the them.They have been fined by the state of Tennessee for misleading practices.They have been or are still being investigated by the state of Georgia.Other organizations have files actions against this one for using their name.The BBB says, "This charity does not meet one or more of the 20 standards for Charity Accountability."Charitable giving and volunteering is good and a necessary part of world. Ignore this organization, put them out of business, and find a deserving charity.

Hope House has been the subject of many investigative reports here in Atlanta. They are not a legitimate charity, they are a big time scam.You said Hope House is legitimate and distributes their donations well, yet nobody knows how they spend their money because they hide behind their Christian exemption and don't release any information on where the money goes.

Connie, I'm pretty sure 678-298-2073 is INSPIRE, not to be confused with Hope House.

Ok, Hope House is a legitimate charity; and they do good work.However, their persistent calling is onerous; especially seeing here that many people have asked them to stop calling but they continue to do so. I would love to give to them, but just can't due to their wearisome methods.
