I've done the research. These pigs (Hope House / NSPIRE) do not run a legitimate charity. Take a close look at the comments from the people who support this "charity", they are all paid shills.
Even if one would like to donate the constants calling every day is very disturbing. If you are told to stop calling do you think the person sound like they would like to be bothered with donating . Does calling all the time get you somewhere it's very much harassment at this stage.
Ah sheds some light on it. WE used to get NSPRE calls even after I said we don't have anything. A few days ago this Hope House appeared. Called today (24 Oct) at 8:25 AM and after 5 on the 22nd.
This number calls my house like 4 times a day. sometime 2 times a day, and they call at odd time of the day. They do not leave a message. They are affiliated with inspire outreach. They are begging for clothing for the poor and homeless. I will never give them anything because they abuse their not for profit status by calling people just as if they live with you in your own home.
They called me 4 times for donations left everythingin the driveway for them they never showed up. I fell this is a scam to get people folks adressses for GOD knows what. Donors beware
Then contact the IRS and get a copy. All "true" nonprofits have to submit a yearly statement and the IRS releases the information upon request.If they are not a true nonprofit then this will obviously not apply.
I think they do more harm to their organization than the good. Calling people at every hour of the day will not accomplish your purpose, instead you are annoying people. I understand it is a charity organization, but sometimes, it feels they have grudge against you for the number of times they call in a day. I have been called 5 times in one day until I was able to get hold of their representative on the phone and complained. Yet it did no goo. I have vowed never to give them a dime of my money.Elizabeth
