I'm sorry, but this is a SCAM. The only people they end up helping is themselves by overcharging the people they are supposed to be helping. A news story was done on htey which is whey they changed their name from Nspire to Hope House as they discovered that VERY little money collected went to a charity. They exist to line their own pockets from ignorant people. Make sure you do your homework before you donate. i dontate to the Kidney Fund as I KNOW they are legit!
I have agreed to donate twice as I'm cleaning my house out to sell. Each time I left large piles of boxes and bags for them and they NEVER picked them up. If I had remembered when on the phone that they were the no show I wouldn't have agreed again. Nothing is more frustrating than moving donation piles twice. I wouldn't waste my time on this "charity". The pick up people is an out sourced company hired to do the pickups anyway. They don't care.
No REAL charity works in such an uncharitable manner! This annoying and constantly invasive protocol makes me HOPE that they are, at least, driven out of business and that you are then forced to find employment as a shill for some other unworthy cause.
