This number is bogus and a spoof! What else would someone be calling from Illinois when most of us don't live there. Don't answer any phone calls you don't recognize, that's all! They'll eventually get tired of calling!

WTF? I have never lived anywhere near Chicago, I don't have school aged children and I have a SoCal phone number. And we wonder why are kids are failing.
I'm an old lady with no kids, and I live in Texas and have a Texas area code. Why would Chicago Public Schools be calling me?
They keep calling for school update from CPS but I have no students and no interest. I have called several times to remove my name, and they keep telling me that the caller isn't responding to request to remove my name from their system. I have called over 10 times
Got a similar call about children at CPS. I don't have any children at CPS. A little google search could not find any connection with this number and CPS. If this was a CPS number it would come up on the first page of a search. So is it some kind of scam.
