We keep getting calls from this number and only hear silence. I do have a child in cps and don't mind hearing the messages from the Mayor or Huberman, but hate that the message doesn't play. I also teach in cps. I find that a lot of parents don't even know their numbers when they fill out the emergency forms. If you get unwanted calls, it may be because some parent has written their number incorrectly or filled in their employment phone number where the form says "home". We often have a sick child and can not reach any number because the phone has been disconnected or the people at the number don't even know the child we are calling about. I hope it works when you call the number to remove your phone number.

I have been getting these "your child miss class" calls for years. If there's a public school kid associated with my number, that kid needs a good spanking. I just called and spoke to a man. He says that he couldn't locate my home phone in their system. Says that he will be sending the matter to another department.

Chicago Public Schools...you are terrible. I've made MULTIPLE attempts to get my new phone number out of their database. I have no children and I am not a contact for anyone. Finally had to block this number and the other one they call from as well....773-553-1000. I rec'd 10 calls yesterday. 10. Absolutely ridiculous.
