The call came in to my cellphone about 6:45 PM Eastern Time on December 12. The woman spoke Spanish. I don't speak Spanish, so I don't know what she said. I wish I knew how to prevent people from calling phone numbers at random. I figure that my number was called at random, because the area code is in Nevada, and I don't know anyone there.
I got this call on my cell phone. 5pm Friday. I don't think it's static in the background but a cash register. The recorded female voice was in Spanish.
I just got this call a few minutes ago and the same as everyone else it first was static then a cash register sound, then a womans voice in spanish saying the cash register opened for me and that i had won $2000 to press 1 to claim my prize i hung up but definitely sounds like a scam call.
They just called my Blackberry. I didn't answer. Nobody calls my Blackberry except my office.
