Its the registration line to remind you that you have an appt. I go to B&W a lot so I have memorized their appt reminder line

These idiots called me one week ago and told me that I have an MRI appointment. I told them that no, I do not have any damn MRI scheduled and it must have been a mistake on their end. I was then asked to call a doctor I have never met and correct this mistake. I got pissed, but more or less politely told them that no, they need to fix it on their end.A few days later I get another phone call but they immediately hang up. Maybe they read the notes, I do not know. I am still pissed. Some poor schmuck is going to die of brain cancer because they forgot to remind the right person to come have their test.No wonder MGH has lost the #1 spot. I do not know how they earned that place to begin with. Get your sht together MGH! You should not have to sacrifice a chicken in order to update a record in a database.

Got a call saying it's from Newton-Wellesley Hospital. From previous posts it sounds like the caller does know which hospital they work for (either MGH, B&W or N-W). Also, all three hospitals should have a 617 area code.

This was Patient Gateway for me. I had complained because I wanted to be able to access my sons information under my account since he's not even a year old yet and they told me I had to set up a new account for him with a separate email. Sorry but not creating an email for my baby... But they were trying to resolve the issue and left a voicemail. I won't be returning that call.

I just got a call from this number telling me that my 9-month-old has an appt with a pediatric neurosurgeon and they need more info about my insurance. They know her name, her pediatrician's name and our insurance. I was like what? The last time my daughter saw her doctor was her 6-month appt and she was perfectly healthy. I have no idea where they got our info from. I called the pediatrician's office and they never made the referral and there is no other patient with a similar name.
