Was told that my gas/ electric would be cut off within a half-hour unless I phone 1-800-239-7036 regarding an outstanding payment. Checked on-line and my power company: and this is a well known scam call. Be warned

Recording from spoofed real Apple help number, telling me that my Apple ID was locked, and to call this 800 number to talk to help people. What a SCAM. Not cool at all.
Called that my apple account had been blocked. Since I got no email alert, as Apple always gives, I suspected a scam.
This is Official Apple Support Number. They helped me to fix my Apple Account Issue.
It starts with a recording offering to lower my credit card debt, tells me to consider this my last warning and the offers to connect me to a live person.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
