they had the misfortune to call our sex toy private hotline. the woman seemend upset when i asked her what size and color of Rubber [***] she was interested in. she hung up on me...
This was from Mazda, and also included the numbers to scratch, the Black Book card, the 4 prizes, a little different but similar, and a check for the dealer. I contacted Mazda and they gave me this link, they think it is either a scam or something that the dealer is doing in the area. I guess I will not even bother to contact the dealer. Thanks for the info.
Got an official looking Platinum Plus Scarlet Card, credit card asking me to call 1-800-251-1344 to activate. The account number was not one I recognize. I refuse to call. Logo on lower right hand corner says MC but not a real Mastercard Log so. BEWARE.
I received an unsolicited Platinum Plus Vcard # 9904 followed by usual 3 more 4 digit # and embossed with my full name and expiry date 2014. Sticker says call 1.800.251.1344 to activate. (The same phone # as in several other posting here.) The back shows GR-C39 and the usual authorized signature box (which seems silly for a virtual card meant for online use). Though looks legit, guess in view of other comments here I should best discard it.
any photo to compare? I believe I also have one - Its a MC logo in a rounded corners and MC each letter are in a circle colored red and yellow.
First let me say "Thank you" to everyone who posted about this. I received a letter addressed to "certified finalist" odd? Offering a platinum preferred money card. No logo, no name. With institutions to call 1-800-251-1344. There are some offers for cheap cars on the flyer... Odd. While reading the fine print it states "if winning number on your invitation matches the prize board at the dealership; you have won one of the following prizes" the back of the card states "no cash or credit back" clearly it is of no value. I smell a scam brewing.
Same call this morning, the oler lady on the phone only asked a couple innocent questions, no personal information asked, but still the phone call seemed eerie!! I heard a man over her shoulder encouraging her to make me an appointment TODAY!!! That's one appointment I plan on missing!!!
I have received by mail an unsolicited credit card from Capital Trust beginning with the numbers 9911 with subsequent 12 numbers including my name, dated 2012, with an M C logo in the lower right corne which is not the Master Card official logo. A removeable tape applied instructed me to activate the card by calling 1-800-251-1344. I did not call. All American based credit cards start with the numbers, 3, 4, 5, or 6. I question which country has credit cards which start with a nine.
I did not receive a call but a "Centurion Plus" card with instructions to call this number for activation. The bottom right hand side has a Vcard symbol. Looked suspect so I destroyed it.
