This is a legit number. I receive checks from them for my annuity. It's called Payment processing center.
This is a legit Company. I receive payment from clients from this company. Never had a problem with them.
Who says, and how would you know? Do you work for them. Payment processing center sounds bogus to me....name of company!
I received one today in the amount of $69.53. When I called 800-278-6302 I got ahold of an American speaking guy, but did not sound like a professional setting on his end of the call. All signs (and there are many) point to this being a BIG SCAM! The alleged "check" looks like it was cut on a paper cutting board; uneven cut edge, no sign of perforations on any edges and just a lot of little things. This place needs to be shut down. I'll be contacting the two state Attorney General's office and our local police/fraud department immediately.
We rec'd a check from this compay, CMB Medical Billing Services, for $5.00.At the top of the check it says "Please Post This Payment for Our Mutual Customer."It also has "Account: C. Blewett" and to please direct any questions to our operations dept. with a phone number of (800) 278-6302.Under the CMB Medical Billing Services it has an address of 11938 W. Driftwood Ct., Boise, Idaho 83713-7862, which a reverse address search shows this person to be Charles Blake (phone number: 208-376-5498)We haven't called him, yet, so we're not sure if he's an innocent victim in this or involved in the fraud.
Don't believe Bruce! He is perpetuating this scam because he is part of the scam!
They are a 3rd party payment system. A lot of banks use them to do they Bill Payment. Example when you have online BillPay via your local bank suck as Citbank, Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo etc, they Banks outsource the BillPay portion to PaymentProcessExpress so the banks themselves don't have to perform the task of mailing checks.
