Same here. I went immediately to the bank where the charge was made (credit card). They credited the amount (79.97) back to my card pending their investigation. I was just rebilled for the amount. And yes, it is impossible to get Sony to do anything about it.
I don't have a Play Station or any gaming devices and I had 9 charges to my credit card. I have the phone number showing up on my caller ID and I don't answer it,. since I don't know who it is. I have reported this number several times to the Government Do Not Call List and to no avail has anything been done about it.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
