Nuisance call - No message but I blocked. Recently received a letter from them about car warranty.

Received a letter about car warrenty.....for my deceased mother in law!

Not a phone call. "Threatening" letter sent through the mail. Since my vehicle is old, the factory warranty has expired. The letter from "Vehicle Services Department" (implies from the manufacturer or dealer) states that my immediate response is necessary - for a fee they will "insure" me with a new warranty. I should call their 800 number now, because I have not responded to their previous notice(s). I face costly repair bills if I do not respond. Instead of a costly repair bill, I am to pay a not-quite-as-costly Insurance policy, which in all probability will never be needed. I wonder how many gullible people are being take in by this scheme. 800-348-7042

I, too, received the letter and the first thing I notice is that they do not have the nerve to list the name of the company and the address of the company. They only give a too free phone number. Had the given their name and address I would file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office both in the State of Florida and the Attorney General of the United States.Why our government can't stop this from happening is unbelievable. Our government only does what is best for themselves and not the people that elect them into office.

I'm getting these letters a lot and it said just what you said. I keep getting them for months and they say this is the last time they will be writing me. ( said it like 50 times now) and today I almost called to find out what it is about as know nothing about cars and just went through a car inspection and feel I was robbed also. My car is a 2011 Mazda with around 8,000 miles as don't drive much. So guess I should just throw this away and do nothing as a scam?

Glad I did some research. There is enough information on letter to make one question if possibly legitimate. I was about to call dealership when figured would google phone number and behold found your responses. Thanks

Telemarketer selling extended auto warranties. Would almost say it's a scam because they try to make you believe they are calling direct from the vehicle manufacturer.

I have received several letters from Vehicle Service Department about my car factory warranty !! This letter is a scam all they have is the make of my car fake fake fake !!!!!!!!
