Still no idea who it is since they will not talk to me with out recording the call.There is no need to call some one and record them.And legally can not record the call without permission from person on the other line.And also call on sundays and upwards of 8 times or more a day any given day.And after being told we do not agree to be recorded.Not sure who this company is but their policy verges on harassment
Caller id is capital one. Message left says there is a suspicious transaction on my credit card ending in the number "...0000". The way cap-1 communicates transaction problems to me is on e-mail and the cap-1 website blocks my card until i contact them. They "never" call me on the phone. This is likely a debt collector associated with a store card processed through capital one.
Has been calling me approx 5 times a day for a week now eversince they took over dressbarn...I refuse to answer as my account is in good standing..called me yesterday, Sunday no less, at 11:17 am, 11:57 am, 12:35 pm, 1:28 pm, 2:09 pm...now starting again today at 11:00 am...absolutely ridiculous
These people call at least 5 times a day every day. Even well after normal outside business hours into midnight. How do we get them to take our number off their lists?i'm guessing it is Capital One based on the previous responses.
I called the number back as they have been calling early morning and several times a day. Very annoying. It was from Capital One and the man asked for my name. I told him my name was not important, and started to give my phone number and said "I am glad this is being recorded because I want you to stop calling my number." He said he can't help me. When I tried to explain, he spoke loudly "Hello, hello, can you hear me?" and I said "yes, can yo hear me?!" He hung up on me when I said I will report this situation. I do not have an account with C.O.
I am just wondering what he would notify himself of? If he already knew the information, then there would be no reason to notify himself of it.
