Some of us do not even have or have ever had an account with AT&T. So we owe them nothing. It's not always about pass due bills sometimes it really is a scam.

Just got a call from this AT&T collections dept regarding our business account is past due.... Funny we have Sprint not AT&T... SCAM!!!

This phone number calls our office like 3 times a day and every time no one is on the line or it hangs up once you say hello. Really annoying, either say something or don't keep calling!

Have received calls from this number the last two days. Never answered and they don't leave a message. If this is AT&T calling about an account, they are way off, because I have no service at all with them.

I just got a call from 1-800-380-1196, mentioned that they are AT&T account payable. I asked his full name. He told his name is LORENZO BLUNT. However, he didn;t provide his Employee number. I asked him if you are AT&T, your phone number should show in AT&T Call. As I was in front of the PC, I went to check this number and found this number # is SCAM. I just disconnect the call without further wasting the time.

Caller Lorenzo said I had an outstanding balance. He wanted me to make a payment. I said I would have accounts payable call ATT. Before he let me hang up he asked me what my account number was. This has to be a scam. He said I didn't need to call the number on my account statement, be cause he was looking at my bill and had the correct number to call.

Not AT&T. The account number they left is not my account number and I am not behind. Just because someone says it, doesn't make it true.

I just received a call from 800 380-1196, said he was from ATT and that he needs to talk to me about my bill and needs my account information about my bill and please return the call. I don't believe there is anything wrong with my bill so I Googled 800 reverse lookup and found these comments... glad I did. I am going into the ATT Store personally to make sure my account is okay and not return the call. Probably the best next step to take in this case. Thanks for the posts... it really helps!
