This number called my cellphone. I checked my messages, and I had this computer message (female voice) leaving the 800# and a reference number to callback with. I never did. I have a service that checks my credit report monthly, and I pay my bill on time. Most debt collectors are live operators, so they can talk to you about repayment. If someone had a debt, how likely are they to call you about it? Duh.
Have been getting the calls on my cell. I missed them they were like 4 times in a row yesterday and another couple times today. The voice mail was a female computer. I do owe money for some medical stuff so that may be why they are calling but it is annoying and i have had another debt company calle me with a live operator. this one must be more advanced using computers to place the call and when someone actually answers they probably revert to live callers, otherwise the computer leaves a message. These calls are annoying and i have nothing better to do than post my thoughts.
I get a voicemail every three days from this number but I have no outstanding debts. I finally called the number back and spoke to a live person. Turns out they had the wrong number. For what it's worth the person I spoke to was very nice and said they would delete my number from their system. Hopefully she was telling the truth!
May I have their address. I would like to do the same. I appreciate the heads up on this company.
I got a call this morning from what I see in other posts as being Enhanced Recovery Corporation. When I answered a recording of cheery sounding woman's voice said, Please wait for an important meassage from ERC", then there was silence and a click. I wonder what the "important message" was about?
I also see it is smoe type of collection agency. I'm not in debt as far as I know. My car is paid off, house is paid off, pay all of my bills on time, and pay my real estate taxes on time. I also got two calls from that Clint Miranda/NCO Financial within the last two days.
This place calls my cell a couple times every morning waking up me and my one year old. I never give out my cell phone number so I don't know how they got it. I just want them to stop calling.
this company called me for a debt i had accrued in 2005, but the kept calling my parent's number, not mine for some crazy reason. i called them back on my cell and they wanted to settle and they asked for my visa number right away without identifying themselves. they gave me a price i needed to pay and i asked if i could check up on them to see if it was legit. they are somewhat legit, they have all the info they need, and i paid them. then another operator got on the lone to tell me they were adding a $10 "convenience charge" to my settlement. i asked them who that was convenient for. this company and the female associates were completely unprofessional and unkind on top of that. i am sure they deal with crap all day, but i was willing to pay a debt from 4 years ago. i am sure they don't get that too often, and the least they could have done is dropped the fee and not have been rude to me over the phone.if you need to deal with these people, prepare for rudeness. if you don't owe anything, don't even bother calling back. they are highly unprofessional.
