This number appears on a fraudulent $9.95 charge which appeared on my visa bill, I never authorized it. How do these ripoff artists get access??? The charge says 'monitoring' 800-595-5760/800-493-3292. Origin is California.

I also got ripped off by this same number TU *MONITORING 800-595-5760 CA and found it on my card bill, so I notified the CC company and told them of this, also there is a scam going on regarding work, it is a company by the name of Senior911Alert.com, they utilize sales people and or home agents but they really are not a working company and have you as you accept the papers for the job offer to fill out the 1099 thereby getting hold of your ss number, then they have you go to PayPal and do a payment of ten bucks for your background check which is to be reimbursed on your first check you receive in 2 weeks, these people were in Texas but have ads all over for the job which initially seemed legitimate. So those who have had this happen, notify your CC and file dispute, DT is the name of the lady I was so called hired by, I will do all I can to get these idiots prosecuted with Federal Trade Commission and anyone else who will do something.

You are so right, see my reply and hopefully it brings some enlightenment to you as well to be careful, people see how desperate times are and many are just bogus predatory worthless thieves and care about no one, even in hardtimes it makes no sense if you have any heart to prey on good people and take advantage of anyone it is all wrong and they will suffer some recompense for things like that. So be careful out there and be aware for they are slick and where they get out info from is news to any of us. take care everyone

Did you ever find out what it was or how they got a hold of your credit account number? This just showed up on my debit card invoice. Thanks.

My bank took this charge very seriously. They immediately closed my debit card account number and sent me a brand new card. They are investigating the company and now, hopefully, something can be done. But I doubt it ... they will probably continue ripping people off -- taking advantage of the fact that most people do not pay attention to their debit card invoices.

I just got and e-mail about these same charges on my fricking old navy visa card!! are you frigging kidding me??? you would think that Visa would be on this [***] by now!!!

It's on my credit card as well. I called my credit card company to get the phone number to TU MONITORING, and they gave me 800-595-5760. Well, that number is not working. So I will file a dispute with the credit card company.

I just got f**ked for 9.95 twice in a row in one day! Will definately look into this. My banks pretty good about this sh*t and they'll go after them if they can! Wish I could get my hands on them, literally.

Let me know what you end up getting accomplished. I am calling the BBB and the California Attorney General Office and having them reported. These reporting agents need to be overseen by a higher regulatory official. I have cancelled all services twice now and am still getting charged. The charges do not stick but its not the point! It waste time that could be better spent me wipping my own butt. I hear class action law suit!!!

I wasn't called by this number but $9.95 was taken out of my account and the bank had the number as the POC. Now i've called this number and for the past 45 minutes trying to get it cleared up.
