this number never fails to call me and from day 1 that they started calling me, I NEVER ANSWERED for the simple reason that numbers that we are NOT familiar with should never be answered plus, I NEVER EXPECT ANY 800 number to call us. My belief would be, IF IMPORTANT, THEY WOULD LEAVE A MESSAGE (never did) All these are scams. It could be very annoying but I wouldn't take the risk of responding for them to trace my line (just the thought of it) Sometimes, they would leave me alone for a week or two (complete silence) and then they try again that maybe their hope of getting someone to finally respond. There are so many of them and sometimes they would use their regular number with area codes that just give me a red flag NOT to answer. Forget about them. AGAIN, don't answer if you are NOT FAMILIAR and if important, they will leave a message. Oh by the way, there was a time when they leave a message regarding an issue of debt and that this "call is from the lawyer's office and they leave the case## just to scare you. Again, DON'T EVEN BOTHER. It it's a legitimate issue, they can send mails (BUT they don't) ..Importantly though, IF YOU DON'T OWE ( EVEN IF YOU DO) , and your conscience says, "I have NOT short changed anyone" then sit back and relax.
After getting a call from 800-531-7209 on my cell phone, which by the way none of my credit card companies have, they said they were Bank of America and were asking for Soina/Angel, and wanted me to hold for a representive. Thats when I hung up and called the number on the back of my Bank of America. After speaking with a representive on the phone for about 15 min. she confirmed it was not Bank of America, but a scam to get your credit card info. They told me to make out a report to the Local Police and FBI.
Your logic is highly flawed.This is Bank of America's collection department.There is no "call tracing," as they obviously already have your number.Want them to stop calling? Pay your bills!Can't pay your bills? Talk to them and work something out.Simple.
FIA card services is Bank of America's credit card servicer and owned by them. Search "MBNA" on Wikipedia for the story.

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.

Medicredit I believe possibly is scam/fraud calls involving medical insurance, medicare. Courts WILL decide !!
