The number seems fine in my case.I called Adobe Systems (the software people for Acrobat Reader, Photoshop, etc.) and too the option of leaving my number for a callback when a representative was ready to speak with me. The callback came from this 800-555-5555 number. I was hesitant to answer, but I did, and it was for the Adobe matter.
For me it was a automated call back from Adobe. Identified on the caller ID as First Look Ultr. One of our employees had called their customer service line and entered our number for an automated call back rather then holding on the line for support.
i am receiving calls but the display is from someone I know but the 555-5555 is not her Number.
If they didn't fall for it by the thousands then this type of scam wouldn't exist. Unfortunately they make lots of money scamming people this way.
