Brand new phone # for me, no message left. Keep in mind you may want to add your cell phone on the DNC list, if you have ever used your cell number on an application or at a cash register then your number will be sold to telemarketers

These clowns call my cell phone every single morning with a recorded message supposedly meant for someone I've never heard of. The recording identifies them as (garbled) Financial Services.

Please stop calling me. There is NO John J. Thomas, ii!

Recorded call asking for someone I do not know.I hit their "9" reply button and was connected to a Ryan.They index whom they are calling by phone number and Ryan asked if thiswas a Paul somebody. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I informed him that their recording was asking for a Shannon person.They called a private line to a company's computer center.No such person there. I know, I am the CIS Manager for the companyas well as the owner.Ryan said he would mark it as a bad number.He better. I have a field of attorneys just ready to pounce on idiots like this.Said company name was 1st Source Financial. UPDATE:I called the 614 number I listed in my last post and the person answering confirmed that the 614-384-5891is to 1st Source Financial

They are calling a nursing home asking for residents using 'Cindy Davis' as the contact name with the number 1-800-650-1776; when you call back you get the chance to leave a recorded message for 'the business office'. This is disgusting and has caused a lot of problems for my family!!! They should be ashamed of themselves for doing this.

5 Times in one day! Is this even legal??

First Financial - this seems to be legit, as I do in fact owe for a hospital bill. However, I had called the hospital in question about 3 months ago and made arrangements to pay out the bill, and have been paying it on time. The fact that they have turned me over to a bill collector is reprehensible. First Financial called my work number about 2 minutes after they called my cell#, and then 'apologized' for calling me again. I told them, when they called my work #, that I had already made arrangements with the hospital, and if they ever call me either on my cell or at work again, I will file a complaint with both the FCC Do Not Call and the Texas State Attorney General's office. What the lady in question did not know was that I am in fact filing a complaint anyway. You would think that these morons would Google their own numbers once in a while to see how abysmal is their conduct, and what people are saying about them.

Number came through on my hardline while I wasn't home, and what threw me was that my Caller ID showed it as WIRELESS CALLER along with the 800-650-1776 (/sarc got to love the use of the patriotic year). That was why I came to this site to try to determine if it might be legitimate...although I AM puzzled as to why the ID showed as being from a wireless number, but considering today's technology, they may have set up something to make it appear as if it is from a cell phone.

Whether it is a collector for a hospital or not, and I do owe but have been paying, they wake me up every morning. So I am setting this number as a "contact" on my phone, giving it a name like "800 Pest 1" and assigning it a "NONE" ring tone, so the phone does not ring. They do leave messages and the message tone does come on, but it is soft and does not wake me up.
