Scam caller claiming to be a debt collector. Called me on April 10th 2026

Called the number, a very rude person answered, Said they are Central Portfolio Controls..

John Gill , debt collector, trying to sound important " Please call my office right away" What a joke.

What's up with this caller - what's the deal, and how to we remove him ?

john gill, a debt collector from central portfolio....sounds like a made-up name, said your debt is in pre-legal stage....lol

Got a call from John Gill, who was asking for my son using my son's name. I said he had the wrong number, and Gill asked where he could find my son. I asked what was the purpose, and he refused saying it was a confidential matter. When I told him if he could find my unlisted number, he could find my son on his own. Gill got angry and started yelling at me explaining that I had now committed an illegal act. When I laughed at him, Gill got angrier and yelled louder. I hung up

Got a call from this number, looked up this page as I called back and saw the reports as this "john" was VERY angry I called him back and asking "why I was wasting his time."

This John person called my home asking to speak to me. My hubby wanted to know what this was in reference to and he actually told my hubby that if was in reference to an old judgement.. can you believe that?

no message this time...but I did get calls right to my voice mail from some guy named "JOHN" and to call him ASAP...
